Matt Lucas opens up about 'toxic' show
Matt Lucas worked on a show where he hated the "toxic" cast.
The 48-year-old comedian admitted he doesn't love every show he works on and one was so bad that he even had a countdown chart to tick off the days until he could finish up.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, he said: "I do take jobs and not enjoy them. They were jobs I thought I would enjoy but maybe they weren’t that much fun. You only need a couple that are not good people and you can have a terrible terrible vibe.
"I did one show where there were two or three not good people in it. The vibe was toxic.
“People didn’t know but hidden away on the set I’d put a chart and I would tick off the shows as they counted down.
“No one knew it was there except the sound person. He hated it as well because of the behaviour of a few people.
"It was our ritual before each show.
"There was a celebration that there was one less show to do. That is a real shame when you are in that situation.”
Matt, who has starred in a number of programmes including 'Little Britain', 'Shooting Stars', 'Come Fly With Me', 'Pompidou' and 'Doctor Who' did not name the toxic show.
