If you are wondering who that really tall man is, it's Matthew Magee, a former assistant private secretary to the late Queen. Standing at 7ft 2in, he would have dwarfed Her Majesty who was only 5ft 3inhttps://t.co/thqPXfwo8L

The tall man was reported to be Matthew Magee, a former assistant private secretary to the late Queen. Standing at 7ft 2in, he towered over Her Majesty who was only 5ft 3in.
He was appointed to the role in 2018 and was often mistaken for a royal protection officer. Mr Magee was also the Duke of Kent Prince Edward’s private secretary before this.
Mr Magee is one of the tallest people in the Crown employ.

He is even taller than ‘Tall Paul’, another employee of the Royal Family who featured alongside the Queen and Daniel Craig in the classic James Bond sketch for the London Olympics.
One royal viewer was keen to set the record straight, wrote: “If anyone else is as curious as I am, the very tall man in front of the hearse in the Queen’s procession is Matthew Magee, her 7’2” private security.”
