Actor Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves McConaughey keep their family life pretty private—it's rare that you'll see photos of their three kids, Levi, 12, Vida, 10, and Livingston, 7. But Alves McConaughey just shared a sweet new photo of a baking sesh with Levi, and fans can't get over how much he looks like his dad.

"Wow, if that isn't a Brazilian Matthew McConaughey," wrote a follower, while another comment read, "He's so handsome! A good mix of you both." One astute commenter noticed the protective mom covering what appeared to be a school uniform insignia on Levi's shirt; Alves McConaughey replied that she was also holding Levi back from the hot pan of cookie goodness.

"You're the best momma," Tamera Mowry-Housley added.

The family moment doubled as a bit of joint promo for both McConaughey's new book, Greenlights, and Alves McConaughey's lifestyle blog, Women of Today.

Whether you find Levi to be the spitting image of his actor-author dad or not, one thing's for sure: he definitely inherited that incredible hair.

Matthew McConaughey shared some thoughts on parenting during a 2018 Today interview. "The main thing is that my wife and I, Camila, we have a similar moral bottom line. And as you learn, if you have kids, every day they get older, you realize how much more it’s really DNA,” he said at the time. “We can nudge 'em and shepherd 'em, et cetera et cetera, but they are who they are. And right now, I’m just happy to say we have three healthy ones and they’re very much individuals.”

McConaughey opened up about his own parents, childhood, and lots more in Greenlights which is billed as "an unconventional memoir filled with raucous stories, outlaw wisdom, and lessons learned the hard way about living with greater satisfaction." Amid the revelations is that, according to the star, his own father died of a heart attack while having sex with his mother.

“I got a call from my mom. ‘Your dad died,’” McConaughey writes. “My knees buckled. I couldn’t believe it. He was my dad. Nobody or nothing could kill him. Except for mom.”

His dad had evidently predicted he'd go during a moment of passion, however. “He’d always told me and my brothers, ‘Boys, when I go, I’m gonna be makin’ love to your mother.’ And that’s what happened. He had a heart attack when he climaxed.”
