Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed he wants four new players before the transfer deadline.

Spurs are yet to make any new signings this summer but are closing in on a deal for Davinson Sanchez.

The initial fee is understood to be around £27million, but that could rise to a club-record depending on appearances and achievements.

Sanchez has agreed personal terms on a five-year deal and now Pochettino has set his sights on further deals.

The Tottenham boss said: "I want four players. It's possible yes but it's not easy."

Asked about the Sanchez deal, Pochettino responded: "We expect to sign some players. That is our aim."

Spurs are targeting both Ross Barkley and Papa Chiekh Diop.

Meanwhile, Kevin Wimmer is free to complete a £15million move to West Brom once Sanchez's move to Tottenham is confirmed.
