Max Greenfield isn’t just a talented actor - he’s actually seriously gifted when it comes to doing impressions too.
Well, impressions of John Travolta, that is.
Max, who plays Schmidt in ‘New Girl’, showed off his brilliant impression of his ‘favourite actor’ John and his performance in ‘American Crime Story: The People vs OJ Simpson’ during an appearance on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’.
Explaining that he loves John’s portrayal of Robert Shapiro in the show, Max revealed that it was his sleeplessness from looking after his newborn that led to his impersonations.
He told Stephen Colbert: “We have a new baby at home and I’ve been tired, so I decided I would do some John Travolta during takes and see if anybody noticed.”

The director DID notice Max’s impressions, telling him: “Max, can we do one take where you’re in character please?”
Amazing work, Max.
