Sons of Anarchy spin-off Mayans MC is currently working its way through its second season, and the latest episode (season 2 episode 7) ended with a shock reveal for the next instalment.

Yup, Chibs is back. Or if you prefer, SAMCRO President Filip Telford.

He isn't the only one making a return however, as the other Redwood Originals Allesandro Montez, Rane Quinn and Happy are all returning too.

Michael Irby, who plays Obispo 'Bishop' Losa in Mayans MC, talked about the news on his Instagram, writing: "Guess the Chibs is out of the bag. See you next week good peeps.

"Thank you for watching! Wonder how this will play out."

This isn't the first time the spin-off has brought back a character from the original Sons of Anarchy. In season one, Lincoln Potter was brought back after last appearing seven years in Sons of Anarchy season four.

Happy himself was brought back for the season one finale in a shock twist, so now they are bringing back Chibs and the rest of the gang, they are really raising the stakes.

Mayans MC airs on FX in the United States. The BBC carries the show on iPlayer in the United Kingdom.
