McDonald’s and Crocs Drop a Limited Collection Including Grimace Cozy Sandals
The vibrant footwear is inspired by McDonald’s characters and meals
McDonald’s is leveling up its style with the help of Crocs.
Starting Nov. 14, a new limited collection of McDonald’s-inspired Crocs, socks and Jibbitz charms will be available on Crocs.com and at select Croc stores around the globe. Inspired by iconic McDonald’s characters and meals, the footwear includes vibrantly splashed sandals and accessories.
Starting with the Grimace “Cozzzy” sandal Crocs, the pair of shoes are inspired by the fan-favorite McDonald’s character, Grimace. Like the friendly blob, (who’s evidently a tastebud) they’re purple. The straps' mouth and eye Jibbitz make up his friendly expressions.
The Birdie and Crocs classic clog are a vibrant yellow and pink, taking a page out of Birdie the Early Bird’s book. The Jibbitz in this pair feature an egg McMuffin, while the matching socks set include a ruffled pair with Birdie’s face on the front.

Fans of the golden arches who have a soft spot for the Hamburglar are in luck. The classic clog Croc pair is made up of black and white stripes and features hamburger Jibbitz and one charm of the Hamburglar himself. The complimentary socks are the same color scheme and are stamped with cartoon burgers.
For those who want to rep the most classic McDonald’s look, try the classic clog — a red pair of Crocs that include charms in the shape of fries, Big Macs and McNuggets.
The collection's shoes with Jibbitz range from $70 to $75, and the socks are $20 each.

McDonald’s characters, specifically Grimace, had a resurgence in popularity when the purple icon celebrated his birthday in June.
The brand released a purple milkshake as part of the celebratory Grimace Birthday Meal. In addition to the shake, fans got the choice of a Big Mac or 10-piece chicken nuggets and fries.
McDonald’s did not specify the actual flavor of the shake and described it as “inspired by Grimace’s iconic color and sweetness.”
PEOPLE got to try the mysterious dessert and brainstormed strawberry shortcake, cotton candy and Fruity Pebbles as possible answers. Nonetheless, each sip was fruity and sugary.
The lovable, spherical-shaped, purple giant has always been one of McDonald's most recognizable characters, with his bright smile and his arms always open for a hug. But fans have never quite known exactly what he's supposed to be.
Back in 2021, Brian Bates — a manager of a McDonald's in Canada — revealed the answer to the Golden Arches' biggest mystery, telling CBC News that Grimace "is an enormous taste bud, but a taste bud nonetheless."

The purpose of Grimace, Bates told the outlet, is to show the food tastes good.
At the time, McDonald's offered some clarification in a statement to PEOPLE.
"Whether he's a taste bud, a milkshake or just your favorite purple blob – the best part about Grimace is that he means different things to different people," the spokesperson said. "Whatever he is, we're just proud our bestie makes people happy."
