McDonald's Australia Has Chicken Parm BurgersMcDonald's Australia

We're generally pretty lucky on the McDonald's front around here. With news that Big Mac sauce would now be available in little pots, it would be super rude for me to complain... but then I see the fact that McDonald's Australia testing out a chicken parm burger and I feel the need to complain!!!

We first spotted this on LadBible, who reported that Macca's, as it's known in Australia, would be testing out a whole bunch of exciting menu items. First up, the aforementioned Chicken Parmigiana Burger. It seems like it's your standard chicken sandwich that's then topped with "parmigiana and cheese sauces," and from the photo it looks messy, crunchy, and out of this world.

Chicken parm may seem kind of high-brow, but it isn't unheard of for a fast-food company to tackle this dish. Burger King whipped it up in 2017 in the US of A. Still, this one looks next-level.

On top of chicken parm, McDonald's will also be testing out fries you can toss in chicken salt, a McSpicy Burger, which is supposedly the hottest in McDonald's history, a Chicken Schnitzel Burger, a Teriyaki Burger, and Spicy Shaker Tenders. That's a whole lot to handle.

But it turns out, this test is only be conducted in South Australia which means that the rest of Australia won't be getting it... and we in the UK will DEFINITELY not be getting it. Sorry, I'm bitter!!

That said, if you happen to be visiting or living in South Australia, you should talk to your local location about offerings and timing. And thank your lucky stars!!!
