What’s better than a cheeseburger? A double cheeseburger, that’s what. But what’s better than a double cheeseburger? Why, a triple cheeseburger of course.

Knowing this, McDonald’s has launched its very own triple cheeseburger!

The burger is made up of – you guessed it – three beef patties, as well as three slices of cheese. There’s also mustard, ketchup, onions and gherkins in there. So, you can still pick those out if that’s your jam. It’s very much not my jam, but you do you.

The dreamy burger will set you back £2.39.

But before you go telling all your Maccies-loving mates the great news, we have to let you know that the triple cheeseburger is only available in 60 restaurants at the moment as it’s being trialled.

You can find the whole list of participating restaurants on the McDonald’s website.

The triple cheeseburger was previously on the menu in 1994 to celebrate the World Cup, but back then, it was known as the Hat Trick, according to BurgerLad.

I can’t see this trial going badly, seeing as it’s a permanent fixture on the McDonald’s menu in the US and Australia, so fingers crossed the triple cheeseburger will eventually be on every McDonald’s menu across the land.

But at least we still have the Grand Big Mac, eh lads?

The return of the Grand Bic Mac With Bacon last month came after wide-spread customer demand following two previous appearances on the menu. With the same ingredients as the Big Mac, the Grand Big Mac offers the same iconic taste only bigger! The giant burger will set you back £4.39, but if you want to add bacon to this bad boy, you’ll have to cough up £4.79.

Thomas O’Neill, Head of Food Marketing at McDonald’s UK&I, said of bringing the Grand Big Mac back: “As our most iconic McDonald’s product, we are excited to be bringing back this twist on our classic Big Mac, so fans can spend longer with the taste they love this Winter. It’s a firm favourite among our customers and we are delighted to bring it back once more for a limited time.

“The reaction to the news of our forthcoming limited run of Big Mac Special Sauce dipping pots has been fantastic. We are working hard to produce as much as we can before the launch in a few weeks in order to give as many people as possible the chance to enjoy Big Mac Special Sauce with all of their favourite menu items.”
