A McDonald’s employee in Perry, Georgia, captured video of a colossal food order on November 9. The video shot by Brittani Curtis shows boxes full of fast-food items.
Curtis told Storyful she and other staff were skeptical after receiving a call for a 6,400-item order.
“We honestly thought it was a prank call until they showed up to pay,” said Curtis. “We worked with four other franchised restaurants to complete the order. It was a local prison that frequently uses our McDonald’s for large orders to feed the prisoners.”
The order was for 1,600 McChicken sandwiches, 1,600 McDoubles, and 3,200 chocolate chip cookies, and came at a cost close to $7,400, according to reports. Credit: Brittani Curtis via Storyful
