Yahoo News McDonald's New Happy Meal for Adults Has Beanie Baby & Barbie Collector Cups
Get ready to take a big gulp of nostalgia thanks to a new meal from McDonald's. The fast food restaurant has just announced that it will be releasing a Collector’s Meal featuring six collectible cups that are a true blast from the past.
Each of the cups will highlight a fan favorite from the past, including Beanie Babies, Barbie, Jurassic Park, and Coca-Cola.
Unlike other meal releases, you'll be able to get your hands on a Collector's Meal any time of day. That means you no longer have to wait for your 1 p.m. Big Mac run to snatch up one of the collectible cups.
To get your cup, all you have to do is purchase one of the following:
A Sausage Egg McMuffin, hash brown, and hot coffee during breakfast hours.
Your choice of a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac with fries and a drink throughout the rest of the day.
With your order, you'll receive one of six cups: Beanie Babies, Barbie & Hot Wheels, Hello Kitty & Peanuts, Shrek, Jurassic Park & Minions, Coca-Cola, or McDonald’s.
For McDonald's, part of the reason why they released the collectible cups was to reignite the excitement fans experienced with past collections.
“There’s an undeniable thrill when you snag that one elusive McDonald’s collectible or the final piece to complete your collection. We’re bringing back some of our most-loved keepsakes with a twist, giving fans a memory that they can hold in their hands,” said Morgan Flatley, Global Chief Marketing Officer and Head of New Business Ventures at McDonald's, in a statement.
McDonald's Collector's Meal will be available starting August 13 for a limited time.
