McDonald's makes major change for all diners with children
McDonald's diners who visit its restaurants with children may notice some bold changes over the next six weeks. The place with the golden arches has revamped its Happy Meals, in a festive shakeup.
While Happy Meals usually come in bright red boxes, with a yellow smile and matching yellow handles, they're now almost unrecognisable - in a bright green colour, with a certain familiar face on them. The boxes look completely different, as McDonald’s has launched its first partnership with Dr Seuss to "welcome The Grinch to Happy Meal".
Each Happy Meal includes a Grinch toy, or a special edition “Twelve Days of Grinchmas” book. As well as this life-size Grinch characters will be showing up to spread festive cheer across 159 McDonald’s restaurants across the UK, bosses at the fast food giant said. You can find your nearest here

A McDonald's spokesperson said: "On the first day of Grinchmas, McDonald’s gave to me… over six weeks of extraordinary Grinchmas themed activities, for all the family! November kicked off the start of an exciting few weeks at McDonald’s where families can discover a range of Grinchmas festive surprises in over 150 McDonald’s restaurants across the UK.
"Those dining in restaurants will benefit from Grinch-themed activity sheets alongside restaurant activation kits with Grinch flags and headbands, while Drive Thru customers will receive a Grinchmas Family Fun Pack including a Christmas card activity, festive board game and crayons."
