McFly Postpone Their Anthology Tour After Harry Judd Suffers A Herniated Disc

McFly fans were over the moon when the foursome announced their ‘Anthology’ tour earlier this year, the band’s first shows as McFly since 2013.

However, they were struck a blow earlier today when Harry Judd announced that after suffering a herniated disc he and his bandmates were left with no choice but to postpone the dates.

We are absolutely gutted.

McFly were due to kick off the string of concerts in June, with the band playing three consecutive nights at four venues across the country, with each night seeing the boys perform a different album.

Taking to Instagram this afternoon, father-of-one Harry broke the bad news, writing: “I’m absolutely gutted to say that we’ve had to postpone the tour as I’ve herniated a disc in my neck.

"I’ve honestly tried everything to make it work but I’d never want to do a tour where I wouldn’t be able to give you guys the 110% performance you deserve every night.

"I’m gunna do all the rehab possible to get myself ready to do the most epic shows we’ve ever put on! Love Harry, Barry, The Triple D, The not quite as good half of Pudd or whatever it is you wanna call me x #mcfly #itsnotalwayseasy [sic]”.

Danny Jones echoed Harry’s sentiments, writing: “Sorry guys we’ve had to re-schedule the Anthology tour until September.”

Whereas Tom Fletcher joked: “Sorry we’ve had to move the tour. Completely Harry’s fault. All complaints to be sent to @mcflyharry.

"On a more positive note, it gives Danny more time to learn the words to our songs.

"Obviously we’re all as gutted as you are but September isn’t that far.”

McFly are playing shows in London, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester with the first night in each city seeing the popular band performing their first album, 'Room On The Third Floor’, night two was the follow-up albums 'Wonderland’ and 'Motion In The Ocean’, and night three 'Radioactive’ and 'Above The Noise’.
