McVitie's fans praise new flavour biscuit spotted in Tesco

McVitie's fans are raving over a new treat spotted on Tesco shelves. Shoppers have praised a new flavour of McVitie's biscuits discovered in the supermarket.

A classic McVitie's biscuit has been given a chocolate twist. Fans have praised the new McVitie's Cocoa Rich Tea biscuit, taking to social media after being left impressed.

The new treat was shared in the Newfoodsuk Facebook group. One fan said: "I love these. Going to Tesco so will look out for them."

Another penned: "Bang goes the diet!!! Look lush." A third commented: "I got this last night and it's nice." Another customer seemed keen to try the biscuits and said: "Ooh will have to look out for these."

While another added: "We will have try them." One fan also suggested: "I'll pick these up for a lil nightshift snack."

The biscuits can be picked up for £1.80 per pack - or £1.25 for Clubcard members, The Sun reports. It comes as McVitie's announced it is rolling out a new Jaffa Cake flavour inspired by a retro sweet favourite.

Shelves will soon be stocked with the latest edition, which will see the iconic McVitie's dark chocolate-covered sponge filled with a unique twist. It will switch the traditional orange jelly with a Cola Bottle flavour.

Shoppers have also been racing to buy the McVitie's Gold Billions Wafer bar after it made its way back to B&M shelves. The bar has layers of crisp wafer and cream filling, coated with golden caramel chocolate.
