A medical helicopter carrying an infant patient crashed outside a church in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, January 11, according to local reports.
The Upper Darby Fire Department said it was responding to an incident involving a helicopter in the vicinity of Burmont Road and Bloomfield Avenue, where Drexel Hill United Methodist Church is situated.
According to reports in local media, the aircraft was en route to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia when it crashed. All four people, including one infant, survived the crash, according to the report. Their conditions were not immediately known.
