Meet Kai Zielinski, a real young hero in action! Born on Christmas Day 2014, Kai is not just your average 10-year-old - he's a little powerhouse of kindness and determination.

With a love for football and computer games, Kai embodies the spirit of joy and adventure. But what truly sets him apart is his big heart and commitment to making a difference.

This year, Kai, whose family are originally from Poland, decided to take action and help those in need. He is proudly taking part in Macmillan Cancer Support’s Brave The Shave campaign, where he has set an ambitious goal to raise £500 by the last day of school on June 30.

Kai lives in Newtownabbey and attends Our Lady of Lourdes (Park Lodge) Primary School on Antrim Road in North Belfast. He's also a member of Cliftonville FC Football Academy. With the help of his friends, family and community, Kai has already raised almost £200 and this is just the beginning as he’s well on his way to reaching his goal and making a big difference for those affected by cancer.

His proud dad Maciej said: "Kai's commitment to this important mission goes beyond just raising money; he plans to engage his peers and community by organising football matches and gaming sessions, encouraging them to join in on the fun while contributing to a vital cause. These fun fundraising play dates will bring people together and spread joy while working towards his inspiring goal.

"The incredible JP, a Cliftonville Academy coach and talented hairdresser, has generously offered his salon and skills to help Kai with his Brave The Shave challenge on Saturday, June 28 at Vintage Hair Salon, 48 University Street, Belfast. To make this moment even more special, we’ll be going live from the salon so everyone can tune in and cheer Kai on as he takes this brave step to support Macmillan Cancer Support."
