Meet Anubis, The Adorable Dog With No Nose

This is Anubis, a dog so adorable that the fact he doesn’t have a nose simply makes him more lovable.

The pooch was found in Cairo, Egypt, with his nose cut off, leaving his tongue permanently visible from the protruding gap.

He was given a second chance of life after he was rescued by Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation (SNARR) and his plight was made public.

Cruel: It is thought the dog may have had his nose cut off by thieves (Facebook/Anubis The Egyptian Baladi)

SNARR believe Anubis’ nose may have been cut off when he alerted the property he was guarding to thieves - or possibly by his own humans for barking too much.

With donations flooding in from around the world, Anubis was eventually flown to El Paso, Texas, last month where he has found a new home with Katria Declete and Joseph Reed.

Katria told KFOX14: “The moment I saw him I’m like, ‘I want this dog!’

“I want to make a difference in his life.”

Facebook page Anubis The Egyptian Baladi has been set up to follow the dog’s progress - and his happy new life.
