Meet The Child Prodigy, 11, Who Has A Higher IQ Than Einstein

An 11-year-old boy with an IQ higher than both Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking has become one of the youngest members of Mensa.

Kian Hamer scored 162 on the Cattell III B test, two points higher than the two geniuses.

The Year 7 pupil from Coventry, West Midlands took the test at Woodlands Academy last month with his classmates.

And despite his remarkable score, Kian’s ambition is still to become a professional footballer - he plays for Coventry City’s under-12s.

“I feel proud to have achieved such a good score and I’m really excited to be joining Mensa,” he said.

“I always work my hardest in everything I do and I’m always up for a challenge.

“I still want to be a professional footballer when I’m older though. I love playing football.”

His father Rich, 43, a firefighter, said: “He’s clever but I’m not calling him a genius. I want him to keep his feet on the ground.

“A lot of people have joked that he’s too clever to be a footballer.

“I don’t think Kian realised what a good score it was at first.

“He’s competitive but he’s not big-headed and he’s very down to earth.”

The average adult has an IQ of 100, while anything above 140 is considered particularly impressive.

The Cattell III B has 150 questions and the maximum score is 161 for adults and 162 for under-18s.
