Noel Gallagher’s ex-wife has been dishing the secrets – and suspected curse – of his legendary London party pad, Supernova Heights.

Home to Gallagher and ex Meg Matthews during the the ’90s Britpop explosion, many famous faces passed through its doors during the years they lived there.

“If only Supernova Heights could speak,” Meg tells White Wine Question Time podcast host Kate Thornton on the latest episode. “I remember Gwyneth Paltrow running in going, 'Look at my engagement ring from Brad Pitt.' I mean, there were all sorts of things going on.”

In 1999, Noel and Meg sold the house, moving out of London to Hertfordshire.

But the property stayed in the hands of the Primrose Hill Set, because former Hollyoaks star Davinia Taylor bought it, with her and Mathews becoming firm friends as a result.

“It was the late nineties and I ended up buying Meg's house,” Davinia told White Wine Question Time host Kate Thornton. “She did a fabulous deal. To be honest, the fixtures and fittings were on another level. I still dream about that fish tank!”

Davinia lived there with former husband and David Beckham’s best mate, Dave Gardner until 2005, when David Walliams bought it for a rumoured £3.2 million.

“He ripped the whole thing out,” says Davinia.

“He took the fish out and everything! I remember cleaning everything so he could move into a nice clean house and the next minute everything's on the low loader disappearing.”

It’s not only fame that links the former Supernova Heights owners – divorce is another common factor.

Talking to fellow podcast guest Davinia, Meg said: “We thought it was spooky that everyone that went there split up: you did. I did. David Walliams did.”

David Walliams married model Lara Stone in 2010. The couple, who have one son Alfred, split up in 2015 and David went on to sell Supernova Heights for just over £5 million in 2018.

Taylor, who spends a lot of time in her second home in Marbella, recalled how she had recently bumped into the Britain’s Got Talent judge in Regent’s Park.

“I was carrying one of the kids home and he was there,” the mum of four recalled.

“I just started chatting to him and he's like, 'Oh, hello'. You know how he is? I never know how to take him! His humour is so weird... But he said he sold it and he was divorced and everything…”

Davinia did go on to admit that perhaps the house wasn’t cursed: “I've got a feeling it's not necessarily the house – it's just the people we know that split up!”
