Meghan Markle's half sister was turned away from the gates of Kensington Palace after arriving unannounced to see the Duchess.

Samantha Markle, 53, presented herself at a security checkpoint at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's London residence to confront her half sister.

But she was stopped at security and following a conversation with a guard, simply handed him a letter before leaving.

After being pictured handing over the letter, she wrote online: "Everybody would love to know what’s in that letter."
