Meghan Markle is currently embarking on a fashion marathon thanks to a 16-day royal tour of Australia, which will also see the Duke and Duchess of Sussex travelling to Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.

With a jam-packed schedule boasting over 76 engagements, the pregnant duchess has been busy changing into multiple stylish maternity looks per day. Her sartorial choices often paying homage to Down Under, a royal custom when visiting another country.

As well as shining a spotlight on a plethora of up and coming Australian designers including Karen Gee, Dion Lee and Martin Grant, Meghan has also been seen in a few of her favourite American brands, including Club Monaco and Brandon Maxwell.

On Thursday afternoon, though, she paid tribute to the UK for the first time on the tour, donning a British designer.

For a visit to Macarthur Girls High School in Sydney Meghan debuted a new designer dress which, surprisingly, was not by her usual go-to British designer Givenchy by Claire Waight Keller.

Instead, the dress, which boasted a flattering A-line silhouette that perfectly skimmed Meghan's growing baby bump was by Roksanda, the namesake brand by Serbian-born, London-based Roksanda Ilincic.

Over the past decade Roksanda has become known for her sophisticated yet feminine designs and Meghan chose to wear the brand's Athena A-Line Dress that retails for £1,299 at Harrods.

Crafted out of weighty crepe and featuring a two-tone colourway, Harrods describes the royal blue frock as having been "inspired by the label's affinity for '50s fashion".

It certainly was a great choice for the school visit, as Meghan's sartorial colour scheme matched the school uniforms to a T.
