Meghan Markle debuts NEW straight hair on a visit to Loughborough University

The Duchess of Sussex has debuted a new hairstyle and she looks stunning. Alongside her husband Prince Harry, Meghan delighted students and onlookers by visiting Loughborough University on Monday afternoon and people were quick to pick up on her new look. The couple were attending the Coach Core Awards, which saw them meet 200 young Coach Core apprentices on Monday afternoon.

Naturally, Meghan was the picture of elegance dressed in head-to-toe midnight blue but it was her makeup and hair look that really stole the show. Instead of having her hair in her staple laid-back waves, or a neat bun, she opted for a poker straight blow dry. For her makeup however, she stuck to what she knows; Her skin was kept dewy and radiant with her trademark just-been-on-holiday glow clearly visible. She wore a slight smoky eye to match her dark outfit and her lips were perfectly nude.

There's actually every chance she may have done her own beauty look for the public occasion. Her makeup artist, Daniel Martin, has previously spoken about how she doesn't always need a glam squad. In terms of Meghan’s favourite look, her former Suits makeup artist, Lydia Sellers, has revealed to HELLO!: “Meghan favours a less-is-more approach to beauty; fresh, dewy skin to show off her natural tone and freckles; thick, lush lashes; a hint of colour on the lips. At night we'd amp it up with a sultry, slightly darker smoky eye or sometimes a bold pop of colour on her lips. She is a very classic, subdued glam kind of gal, which I truly admire."

It's been a busy few weeks for the Duchess having launched an incredible new cookbook alongside a group of women that started a community kitchen following the Grenfell Tower fire last year. The cookbook features over 50 recipes from across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean and Meghan provided the foreword for it. She wrote: "I immediately felt connected to this community kitchen; it is a place for women to laugh, grieve, cry and cook together. Melding cultural identities under a shared roof, it creates a space to feel a sense of normalcy – in its simplest form, the universal need to connect, nurture, and commune through food, through crisis or joy – something we can all relate to… Through this charitable endeavour, the proceeds will allow the kitchen to thrive and keep the global spirit of community alive."
