​Meghan Markle does not “wear the pants” in the Royal family, her half-sister Samantha Markle said in yet another scathing rant as she hinted that their father Thomas may launch a clothing line.

The Duchess of Sussex was criticised by her estranged relative, 53, who continues to defend their father Thomas Markle on social media.

“Newsflash!” she tweeted, "#MeghanMarkle does not wear the pants in the Markle family or the Windsor family. Dad sits at the throne at the top of our family, folks! @KensingtonRoyal”.

In a bizarre twist she hinted that her and Meghan's father Thomas was launching a fashion line.

She wrote: "So excited about my father’s new #clothing line for men! Will keep you posted."

Another tweet suggested: "He needs to start his own line of hoodies for older men."

It comes after Ms Markle, a former actress, pinned a tweet by Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan who criticised Meghan for “freezing out” their father.

"Dear Meghan Markle, all your fancy new palaces, servants & tiaras won’t make up for losing your father. Get on a plane & go see the poor man before it’s too late,” Morgan tweeted, urging her to fly to Mexico in an attempt to reconcile with the retired lighting director.

“You can’t just freeze him out of your life like you’ve done the rest of your family & most of your old friends," he continued.

Mr Markle, 74, has revealed he hasn’t spoken to his daughter since the days before he pulled out of walking her up the aisle at her wedding to Prince Harry on May 19, citing health issues.

The announcement he would not attend came in the wake of revelations he had set up paparazzi shots.

Most recently, he told The Sun he missed his daughter and “would like my relationship with Meghan to be like father and daughter like we’ve always been”.

In a three-part interview with the Mail on Sunday, he revealed he had enjoyed “warm and chatty” phone conversations with Harry – who warned his future father-in-law to avoid the paparazzi.

He is said to be growing “increasingly bitter” that his past generosity to his children is not being reciprocated, according to a recent report.

Mr Markle has allegedly told friends he expected his daughters and son Thomas Jr to help pay for his retirement, complaining he had not received a “f***ing dime”.

“While he was working, Tom supported all his children. He was generous,” a source told The Mirror.

“But he made no secret that he expected in his dotage the money he spent on them would be repaid.

“He says they have not given him a f***ing dime back. He is growing increasingly bitter about it”.

Mr Markle’s anger appears to have been worsened by reports that Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, is preparing to move to London to be close to her daughter, 37, and son-in-law, 33.

“It has not been helped by how his ex-wife, Meghan’s mum, has been so welcomed into the royal fold,” the source continued.

“The fact she could be moving to England has not helped the situation while he is in a pokey home in Mexico.”
