Meghan Markle is going to receive ‘Duchess lessons’ to become a fully fledged member of the Royal Family.

The new Duchess of Sussex will be tutored by Samantha Cohen, a former private secretary to the Queen.

Cohen has already been helping Meghan with matters such as Royal protocol, how to address people and hot to manage her new position, according to media reports, before she takes up her new position as Prince Harry’s private secretary.

It will be six months of listening,’ according to a source speaking to the Times.

‘She is seeking out advice on a range of people. She is going to proceed with humility. It is not going to be quiet, though. It’s going to be a very busy office.’

Meghan, 37, has said she wants to ‘hit the ground running’ with respect to her royal duties.

Meghan and Prince Harry are expected to head to Australia and New Zealand later this year.

Cohen, 49, is originally from Australia and had been scheduled to leave Buckingham Palace this summer before being her assigned her new duties.

‘She is a brilliant choice and has been helping Meghan adjust to the new surroundings,’ a source told People magazine.

The decision to use Cohen apparently has the backing of the queen and Prince Charles.

The Times reports that the American-born Duchess of Sussex has already begun meeting with Cohen to begin the lessons.

The 37-year-old has been spending her first week as a Royal after last weekend’s star-studded wedding in Windsor.
