Are Meghan Markle and Ivanka Trump trying to make white turtlenecks happen?

Meghan Markle‘s fondness for blazer dresses has already drawn style comparisons to Hope Hicks. Now the bride-to-be’s wardrobe seems to be taking cues from another White House figure: Ivanka Trump.

On Thursday the former Suits star joined fiancé Prince Harry for a royal visit to Birmingham, England. Markle wore her hair in long, loose waves, and she bundled up in a navy J.Crew coat with white trim worn over a white turtleneck. Slim black slacks and black heels completed the look.

If the sweater looks familiar, it’s because Trump wore a similar version when she landed in South Korea ahead of the Winter Olympics closing ceremony in February.

At the time, Trump’s sartorial move was met with a few snarky comments.

Still, the Diane-Keaton-in-a-Nancy-Meyers film seems to be gaining favor in this brisk weather — and if anyone can make a trend stick, it’s these two style influencers.
