Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Respond To Clarkson's Apology

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have responded to Jeremy Clarkson’s public apology for the offensive article he wrote about Markle in The Sun. Clarkson shared a statement on Instagram expressing his remorse for the article in which he said he hated Markle “on a cellular level”. In the apology, the TV presenter said he was in a rush when he wrote the article and did not read over it before pressing send. When Clarkson read it in the print the next day he felt “sick” and “mortified” and admitted that he does not condone violence against women. He claims to have reached out to Meghan and Harry via email to apologize for the “disgraceful” language he used. According to a statement from the couple, Clarkson “wrote solely to Prince Harry” and the contents were “marked Private and Confidential”.
