How Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Are Spending Their Thanksgiving With Archie and Lili

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are celebrating their second Thanksgiving in the U.S. on Thursday, and for the first time ever, Meghan has publicly shared the couple's plans. During her Ellen DeGeneres show interview last week, the Duchess of Sussex revealed that she, Harry, and their two children, two-year-old Archie and five-month-old Lili, will be spending the day in their Montecito, CA home.

"I love to cook," Meghan said. "We’ll be home and just sort of relax and settle in. It’s our second Thanksgiving at home in California. It’ll be nice, it’ll be really nice."

Meghan opened up to DeGeneres about how Harry has come to love California living. "We moved here during lockdown, exactly when things shut down, so we've just been able to spend a lot of time at home and creating our home, but I think it's just the lifestyle and the weather is pretty great," Meghan said. "But we're just happy."

Last year, Meghan and Harry spent their Thanksgiving with Archie and Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, at their Montecito home. "They are going to have a quiet dinner at home and are looking forward to celebrating their first American Thanksgiving in the States as a family," a source close to the couple shared with ELLE.com at the time.

"They plan to enjoy a home-cooked meal with traditional Thanksgiving dishes, including recipes made with fresh vegetables from their garden," the source added.
