Meghan Markle is reportedly ready to reunite with the Royal Family after four years of little to no contact with her husband's relatives.

A royal insider claims her desire is part of her game plan to "help sell her jam" which the duchess believes will be more of a success if she has better relations with her in-laws.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been estranged from the Firm since they quit their royal roles back in 2020 and relocated to the US.

Since their exit, the couple have not held back when it comes to throwing their Royal Family members under the bus and have made a number of bombshell allegations against the monarchy, the Mirror reports.

Infact tension between the former Suits actress and Harry's family seems to be so high that rumours claimed Meghan "never wanted to set foot in Britain ever again".

The Sussexes' have not visited the UK together in almost two years with their last joint appearance being in September 2022 for the late Queen Elizabeth II's funeral.

However, a royal source has suggested that Meghan is now ready to extend an olive branch to her royal in-laws to help her business, despite the fact she is still "genuinely hurt".

Royal expert Angela Levin disclosed on GB News: "She's still genuinely hurt by how she was treated by the Royal Family - this is four years on. And she wants to now at last sit down and talk through things."

Levin claimed that Meghan would ideally like to receive a public apology from the Royal Family but she believes this idea seems too far-fetched.

She went on: "The person who should apologise is really her, but they [Harry and Meghan] don't want that."

The expert added that the Duchess of Sussex believes that reuniting with the royals could potentially help her out with sales amid the launch of her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

Levin said: "She's also trying to get Beatrice and Eugenie, who's on top of her list, to get people to help her sell her jams. And she's really hoping that King Charles might take one, too.

"It comes from quite a good source, and that would be her excuse to go there, she wanted to make sure everything was nice, but it's also a way of selling her products."
