Meghan Markle has changed into a stunning Stella McCartney gown for a glamorous evening reception after her wedding to Prince Harry.

The newly-appointed Duchess of Sussex stepped out in a bespoke lily-white high neck gown, having transformed her look before she and Harry left Windsor to continue their marriage celebrations.

It came after Meghan wowed audiences around the globe earlier today in her first wedding dress, a more demure number designed by Brit Clare Waight Keller.

Now the radiant bride has revealed her second outfit of the day - pictured as she and Harry drove off into the evening sunshine in a classic open-top Jaguar for their reception dinner.

The royal couple travelled to Frogmore House to meet close friends and family for an intimate affair this evening.

Royal bride Meghan had changed into a white halter neck gown, her exposed shoulders marking a change in style from the three quarter length sleeved, pure white dress she wore for the ceremony.

Her hair was in a relaxed up do - styled by George Northwood - and she tucked loose strands behind her ears amid the evening breeze.

Kensington Palace said the dress was designed by Stella McCartney, and is a custom design made of silk crepe.

The Duchess also wore shoes from Aquazurra made in silky satin, with nude mesh, with soles painted in baby blue.

And she appeared to have received a poignant wedding day gift from her new husband - an impressive, emerald cut aquamarine ring which belonged to his late, beloved mother.

Meghan wore the large gem on her right hand as the couple made their way to their evening reception.

Ms McCartney is a well-known name on the global fashion scene.

The 46-year-old who has established herself as a major force in the fashion industry is the daughter of Sir Paul McCartney and his first wife Linda.

She was appointed creative director of French fashion house Chloe, but proved a runaway success and soon left to launch her own label.

Since then, she has built up her business and now runs more than 20 stores around the world selling her designs to some 100 countries and has teamed up with brands including Adidas and H&M.

In 2012 she was named Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards, in part for her work designing the kit worn by Team GB and the nation's Paralympians.

In the past McCartney has dressed a host of stars including Amy Poehler, Kate Hudson, Karlie Kloss and Adele.

And Meghan is no stranger to her fashion either, wearing a black coat by the designer while visiting Cardiff with Prince Harry.
