Meghan Markle seen in rare Suits BTS pictures shared by Patrick J. Adams on Instagram

After nearly a decade on air, TV show Suits is set to come to an end with its final episode this week.

The show, which saw the Duchess of Sussex star as paralegal Rachel Zane alongside actors Gina Torres, Gabriel Macht and more, was a pivotal moment in Markle's acting career.

Now her former co-star Patrick J. Adams has just shared a number of unseen photos of the Duchess from the set.

Adams, who played Meghan Markle’s onscreen romantic interest Mike, posted several shots to Instagram this morning featuring behind the scenes moments on the show.

Starting with his first ever fitting, he also posted pictures of Meghan standing beside her trailer, relaxing between scenes and kicking her feet up alongside her castmates.

His first shot of Meghan was captioned simply “RZ”, after her character Rachel Zane’s initials.

In the shot, the Duchess can be seen sitting at her desk as an image of a manicured hand resting on a file is overlaid on the portrait.

Adams also shared a picture of Meghan standing proudly in front of her trailer, wearing aviator sunglasses as she posed in front of a sign that read 'Rachel' for her character.

Adams also featured a few reportage photos, including one where Meghan is standing off to one side on set clutching what appears to be her phone and a script in her hand.

The show features a lavish law office decked out with designer furniture, which Meghan is pictured lying down in between takes (scroll right):

In another black and white shot, a person who appears to be Meghan is also seen wearing nude stilettos and a dressing robe.

Adams also took a few photographs of Meghan with another of the show’s leading ladies - Sarah Rafferty, who plays Donna. In one shot, the pair is seen taking a quick phone break on set.

Meghan is pictured lying on the ground, her character’s sky-high stilettos discarded to the side, as she puts her feet up and holds her mobile to her head.

She and Rafferty also scowled for the camera in another BTS shot.

One selfie features the original six cast members, who included Meghan, Gina Torres, Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty, Gabriel Macht and Rick Hoffman.

Adams also snapped a photo of Meghan on set with an imposing looking piece of camera equipment behind her. She is seen sitting at a desk covered in paper and gazing off into the distance.

The cast of Suits has been saying their final goodbyes to the show over the past few weeks, as filming on the series wrapped. With Meghan’s co-star Gina Torres calling her and the rest of the cast “family” in an Instagram post, Gabriel Macht also wrote that he was “grateful” as Rafferty announced she would be moving away from Toronto, where the show was filmed.

Although many fans held out hope that Meghan would return to say goodbye to the show, Suits creator Aaron Korsh said that the chances of her coming back were “pretty close to zero”.

He said, “Not currently pursuing asking Meghan to leave her position with the Royal Family and join us. We love her, we wish her well but I don’t think that’s happening.”

Following her final appearance on the show in a highly anticipated wedding episode, the show did manage to squeeze in one final meta reference to the Duchess. Adams, who also left the series shortly after Meghan, returned for a quick cameo in which he updated everyone on the status of her character Rachel Zane.

In it, he’s asked how Rachel is doing. Adams responds, “If I told you how good, you probably wouldn’t believe me.”
