Ah, former senior royals/cooking show hosts/podcasters: They're just like us. According to insiders, Meghan Markle's summer itinerary is super-relatable and includes "relaxation and enjoyment" with her family.

A source recently told OK! that after she wrapped filming for her upcoming Netflix cooking show, Markle just wants to enjoy the rest of the summer with her family.

“She wants to use the next couple of months relaxing and having fun after a stressful year so far,” the insider shared, according to Marie Claire. The where, however, is a little less relatable. “Meghan wants to escape with Harry and the kids to a remote island, where they can enjoy family time without any external pressures and in complete luxury.”

In addition to a tropical getaway, Markle has another event on her agenda that is pretty much every kid's summer fantasy: a trip to Disneyland.

“Archie and Lilibet are at an age now where they can engage in more adventurous activities, and Meghan has even mentioned a trip to Disneyland, as she knows they will be well cared for there and how much the children would adore it,” the source continued. “Lili is very fond of Disney princesses right now and would be absolutely thrilled.”

For Markle, this time off is all about making “family time is the priority. However, the royal, who has been busy developing her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, also hopes to get some of her gal pals together for some “girly trips,” such as a glamping excursion to a national park, per the outlet. Markle plans on making the most of this summer vacation before her schedule fills up with her various ventures.

“She knows she’s got a busy autumn coming up with lots of new work commitments, so she just wants to concentrate on family and friends this summer as she won’t have as much time for it in the run up to the end of the year,” they added. Plus, the duchess is celebrating her 43rd birthday on Aug. 4, giving her even more of a reason to kick back and enjoy her time off. Her husband Harry, however, is in charge of those plans.

“It’s her birthday in August, but she’s letting Harry arrange that and surprise her with something, as he has always done,” the source added.
