Mel B has rowed back her comments about her fling with Spice Girls bandmate Geri Horner, claiming that the press have taken it ‘to a whole other level’.
Mel, real name Melanie Brown, claimed that she and Geri once slept together during their time in the band in an interview with Piers Morgan for this ITV talk show.

“I just said we had a ‘thing’. It wasn’t a big deal. It was one of those things that happened one night.

She added that she’s since spoken to Geri on the phone about the furore.
“I was on the phone with Geri,” she said.
“I texted her and said I admitted on Piers that we had a little thing so don’t worry about it, it was all tongue in cheek and I didn’t go into detail and it was pre your husband and pre your babies and mine.

In an band chat with MTV in 1997, she was asked which other Spice Girl was her favourite.
She said she liked ‘different bits’ of all of them.
