So far there's only been speculation that the (frankly amazing) Generation Game could be about to return with Mel and Sue front and centre as hosts, but that doesn't mean that we're not willing to muse on what it would be like if it actually happens.
And it seems that at least one half of the presenting duo is well up for taking on the job should the series actually be rebooted, which is enough to get things moving if you ask us.
When asked by The Sun's TV Magazine whether the rumours are true, Mel Giedroyc certainly didn't do much to shut them down, saying: "Who knows! It'd be amazing. I love a bit of Saturday night TV."
Officially, the BBC's comments on this is that the rumours are just "speculation" and they have "nothing further to add".
But, let's face it, we're having Mel and Sue withdrawals – especially as they won't be together in this year's The Great British Bake Off – so any hope we can see them on screen together again is exciting enough news for us.
And it seems that Mel's solo hosting adventures has left her feeling a little bereft of Sue as well, as she opened up about what it was like to host alone.
"Sometimes I find myself looking to the left and right, thinking: 'Oh, Sue, where are you?'" Mel said.
"But this is about the joy of going on [the Pitch Battle] stage – the vibe on set is brilliant. The concept of the show is unique and the different groups have such an amazing experience together."
Mel continues her recent stint of Saturday night solo presenting jobs tonight with Pitch Battle, the BBC's latest talent that sees vocal groups battle it out to win the approval of judges Gareth Malone and Kelis, as well as that week's special guest judge.
Pitch Battle launches tonight (Saturday, June 17) on BBC One at 7.30pm, where Will Young will stand in as the first guest judge.
