Melania Trump Receives White House Christmas Tree

First lady Melania Trump received the White House Christmas tree on Monday, November 23, kicking off a week of holiday traditions that also includes turkey-pardoning.

The tree is an 18.5-foot Fraser fir from West Virginia farm Dan and Bryan Trees, according to a tweet from the first lady. “Since 1966, the arrival of the White House Christmas Tree has become an iconic holiday tradition,” the tweet read.
