Winterville line up 2018: Mel C, Norman Jay and more to headline Clapham Common

Melanie C and Norman Jay MBE are among the names revealed to perform at this year’s Winterville.

The festive extravaganza, which will take over Clapham Common for five-and-a-half weeks this November and December, has already announced a huge line-up of yuletide frivolities — from an ice rink and street food market to immersive cinema and Mexican wrestling.

It has now detailed its weekend music events, featuring sets from dance music legends and London club night favourites.

Former Spice Girl Melanie C will perform a “90s mixtape” DJ set in the Spiegeltent on the opening night, Friday November 16, with the pioneering DJ Norman Jay appearing in the same place a week later.

The Cuban Brothers are also set to appear, as is the South London Soul Train, one of the most popular club nights from south of the the river.
