Thousands of workers rallied for better pay and work conditions in Melbourne on Tuesday, October 23.
The march was part of the Change the Rules campaign demanding a higher minimum wage and equal pay for all, news.com.au reported. The protest prompted the Melbourne tram network to stop in the city from 9:30 am to 12 pm on Tuesday.
