Men attacked in North Wales street as police issue witness appeal

Police are appealing for information after an incident in Flintshire

Police have launched an appeal for information after two men were assaulted. The incident happened in Oakenholt in Flintshire last month.

North Wales Police said the victims were set upon by a group of other men on Wednesday, October 30. The force urges anyone who saw what happened or a white Ford Transit van in the area to come forward.

A spokesman said on the NWP North Flintshire Facebook page: "It is reported that two men were assaulted by another group of men at around 3.45pm in the Chester Road area." Detective Sergeant Jenna Hughes added: “If you were in the Chester Road area between 3.45-4pm on the above date and witnessed the incident or saw a white Ford transit van at around the same time, please make contact with police.

“Our investigations into this incident are ongoing and I would request anyone with information about those involved to contact police or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously.” Anyone with information is asked to visit the force website, ring 101, or contact anonymously via Crimestoppers, quoting reference 24000922509.
