Men in balaclavas seen with stolen moped in Cheltenham among latest crimes
Two men seen wearing balaclavas and dark clothing seen making off down a street with a stolen moped. has been reported to Gloucestershire Police over the past few days. Other incidents include a strimmer and candlestick being taken from outside a house and thieves have attempted to take horse riding equipment and saddles.

Appleby Close, Brockworth: A vehicle parked on a driveway has been broken into and a large quantity of tools have been stolen. Unknown offender(s) have cut into the rear door of the vehicle and peeled it back to gain access. Items stolen include bags of copper fittings, a mix of hand tools, power tools and a matt press gun. Ths happened in Appleby Close, Brockworth between 5:30pm on September 11, 2024 and 5am on September 12, 2024. Incident 032 of September 12, 2024

Painswick Road, Cheltenham: Unknown offender(s) have entered a property by unknown means and stolen a backpack containing a laptop, a handbag containing bank cards was also stolen. Some of the drawers in the room had been searched through. The empty handbag was found dumped outside a local church. Painswick Road, Cheltenham. This happened at approximately 11am on September 11, 2024. Incident 208 of September 11, 2024.
Babdown near Tetbury: During an attempt to enter a property in Babdown near Tetbury the front door was damaged during an unsuccessful attempt to enter the property. However outside items including a Stihl Strimmer and a metal candlestick were taken from a horse trailer outside. This happened between 5pm on Saturday September 7, 2024 and Monday September 9, 2024. Moreton Road, Longborough: Between Friday September 6 and Monday September 9 unknown person/s have entered a site in Moreton Road, Longborough and forced entry to an office and three containers removing items. Callamore, Littledean, near Cinderford: A white Kia Sportage car was reported stolen from Callamore, Littledean near Cinderford. It was stolen from the owners drive way between 10pm on the September 9, and 8.50am on September 10. Keynsham Road, Cheltenham: A dark blue Land Rover Discovery was reported stolen from Keynsham Road Cheltenham. It was stolen from the road between midnight and 7am on September 10. Edge End, Coleford: On September 10, 2024 we received reports of an abandoned vehicle in the Edge End area of Coleford. Officers had received reports that the vehicle had been driven around the area in an anti social manner the previous day. Leighterton, Tetbury: A burglary was reported at a farm in Leighterton near Tetbury where riding equipment and saddles were attempted to be stolen. This occurred at 10pm on September 9 . High Street, Cheltenham: A white Piaggio Liberty 125cc moped has been stolen without keys from outside a business.
