Men suffer injuries after 'nasty assault' in shop
Two men suffered injuries after a man entered a shop and attacked them. Police officers were called to a shop on Park Lane in Netherton at around 5.50pm on Saturday, November 23, after they received reports of a man had entered the shop and assaulted two men.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and a 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 causing grievous bodily harm. He is currently in police custody. One of the victims suffered injuries to their face and the other to his arm.
Enquiries are continuing in the incident and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. Detective Chief Inspector Andy McCourt said: “This was a nasty assault that has left two men with injuries.
