Men wearing flip flops is absolutely not okay, according to Twitter
Hot weather calls for less clothes and alternative footwear and that’s just a fact.
But, should there be rules for alternative footwear? According to Twitter, there should be for men.
In a burst of outrage and passion, women across the Twittersphere are stating men should not be allowed to wear flip flops in public.
Why? Because no one should subjected to their feet. Ouch.
The messages appear unswayable with women writing the likes of, “There is no heatwave strong enough to legitimise the visibility of men's feet in the urban British environment” and "I’d rather bleach my eyes than have to look at a man’s foot in anywhere outside of a beach setting ".
Just because it’s warm and sunny does not mean we need to see men’s trotters in flip flops 🤢
Please stop the madness! #TrotterGate #FeetAreEvil— Jax (@Gellyfsh) April 19, 2018
I’m seeing a heavy debate on men in sandals on Twitter. Not to be dramatic but I’d rather bleach my eyes than have to look at a man’s foot in a flip flop anywhere outside of a beach setting

Some don’t feel quite as strongly though, protesting that they should not and will not be #flipflopshamed.
To be fair, what other choice have they got than a sandal if they want to let their tootsies air? And when it’s plus 25 degrees plus outside, you'd want to let them air, wouldn’t you?
can yall shut UP about men wearing flip flops outside of the beach? its hot. would u rather them be sweating in they shoes and being all smelly?? its a got damn flip flop get over it.
