Don’t miss Julia Donaldson's charming and magical story about a piece of wood called Stick Man who ends up on a grand adventure as he tries his best to get home to his stick family in time for Christmas. The award-winning animation is also an African success story as it was animated by South African animation company Triggerfish.

Gruffalo’s Child (Showmax)

The sequel to the Gruffalo, this is the tale of the little girl Gruffalo who ventures out of her cave one night looking for adventure, ignoring her father’s warnings about the Big Bad Mouse that lives in the forest.

A StoryBots Christmas (Netflix)

Featuring the characters from the animated StoryBots series, this Christmas special focuses on Bo. When her friends seem disappointed by her gifts she decides to learn from the best: Santa Claus. Along the way she discovers that Christmas is about more than just toys.

DreamWorks Home: For the Holidays (Netflix)

This very sweet holiday special features the characters from the movie Home. Tip is looking forward to spending the festive season with alien Oh, but Oh’s well-meaning attempt to introduce his people to the joy of Christmas doesn’t go according to plan. 

Jingle All the Way (DStv Now)

What could be more festive than a super cute husky puppy looking for a home for Christmas? After a boy and puppy become best friends, the boy must leave and the puppy embarks on a snowy adventure to find his human pal.
