Urgent appeal after 14-year-old girl goes missing from hospital

Police are appealing for urgent help to find a missing 14-year-old girl who vanished from a hospital on Saturday evening.

Lillie Mae Swift was last seen at 7.20pm at Whiston Hospital in Prescot, Merseyside, investigators said.

She is described as a white female, 5ft tall, of slight build, with shoulder-length straight black hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion.

She was last seen wearing a black and white long-sleeved crop top, black and white tie-dye jogging bottoms, a black bomber jacket, sparkly black trainers and silver hoop earrings.

The teenager also had a black backpack with her at the time, Merseyside Police said.

She is known to frequent branches of McDonald's or places with wifi, the Anfield and Rainhill areas and hospitals in the Merseyside area.
