Met Office forecasts heavy rain with potentially sunny spells in London this weekend
Met Office has predicted wet and cloudy conditions with heavy rain forecast for most of Sunday morning – here’s the full forecast.
Following on from the wet and windy weather in south east London this week, Met Office has predicted further rain and cloudy weather this weekend.
Some drier and potentially sunny spells have been forecast on Saturday and Sunday afternoon with the possibility for wind and breezy conditions.
On Saturday the weather is expected to be breezy and cloudy throughout the morning. Scattered showers are expected, most likely in north London with the potential for heavy showers at times.
The afternoon is expected to remain mostly dry, with light wind and some bright and sunny spells.
This evening outbreaks of rain with potential for heavy showers will spread northeast and are expected to continue overnight.
The rain is expected to lighten with the weather becoming windy. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

On Sunday the weather is expected to begin cloudy with rain. Heavy rain has been forecast overnight and into the early afternoon.
