Meteorologists have today issued another weather warning for North Staffordshire as the Arctic blast continues to rattle around the area. On the back of the latest alert forecasters have also predicted further snow flurries for the Potteries and the Moorlands tomorrow.

Now the Met Office has issued a yellow warning for ice that will come in at 4pm and run through to 10am tomorrow morning. That comes on the back of a previous alert which ran from 5pm last night until 10am today.

The new warning spans North Staffordshire, North Wales and part of Scotland. Over the border and a snow and ice warning is in place for northern parts of Scotland along with Norfolk.

Meanwhile meteorologists with the Met Office reckon Stoke-on-Trent could see light snow flurries from 8pm tomorrow (November 21), with the Moorlands braced for flurries between 8pm and midnight. But the BBC reckons the snow could be heavy tomorrow night around Leek.

Temperatures are not expected to get past 3C in North Staffordshire today and will drop to around -3C in places by tomorrow morning. However it will feel more like -5C later this evening.

As reported by StokeonTrentLive, parts of North Staffordshire had more snow last night with families waking to varying degrees of depth this morning. The Arctic blast that moved in on Monday evening left a trail of problems including fallen trees and burst water pipes.
