All the Midland regions issued Met Office freezing weather alert
The Met Office has issued an ice warning for the entire West Midlands region. The warning is in place from 3am until 10am tomorrow on Saturday (January 25), lasting for seven hours.
Drivers have been warned of icy conditions on the road, while people out walking have been warned of slips and falls. Separate weather maps from WX Charts has revealed temperatures dropping to 0C across the Midlands region tomorrow.
The Yellow ice warning covers the entire West Midlands region, large parts of Wales and the south west of England, alongside the East Midlands. It is one a number of weather warnings issued across the UK from today and heading into the weekend and Monday.

A Yellow warning for strong winds is currently in place, covering the whole of the country. Inland areas could experience gusts of up to 50mph to 60mph, according to the Met Office.
Issuing the Yellow ice alert, the Met Office said: "Icy stretches will lead to hazardous conditions in places on Saturday morning. Showers will move across this region on Friday evening and early Saturday morning.
"Skies will clear following the showers with ice likely to form on untreated surfaces and lead to some hazardous travelling conditions." Warning of hazards, the forecaster said there will be "probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths", while "some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces" could occur.
On Sunday (January 27), the Met Office has issued a separate Yellow rain warning, covering the entire West Midlands region and large parts of southern England. The rain warning will begin at 8am and last until 6am on Monday (January 28).
The Met Office warned: "Spells of heavy rain may lead to some local flooding during Sunday and Monday."
