Met Office slaps snowy Stoke-on-Trent with new weather warning
The Met Office has slapped Stoke-on-Trent with a new weather warning. The yellow weather warning for ice came into force at 5pm tonight and runs until midday on Wednesday, January 8.
It warns of: "Icy stretches leading to some impacts to transport and some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces. There will probably be icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths."
It comes as snow is continuing to fall in North Staffordshire tonight ahead of freezing temperatures.
