Met Office verdict on when heavy rain is due to stop soaking Coventry

The Met Office has forecast that heavy rain will stop across Coventry and Warwickshire tomorrow morning. It issued a 30 hour yellow warning for rain for our area and this came into force at just after midnight.

It is for 'heavy rain' that 'could cause disruption' across the region. But the warning ends at 6am tomorrow morning (May 23)

However, while the heavy rain is set to stop, there is a chance of some much lighter showers tomorrow with a drier day on Friday (May 24).

The latest local Met Office report predicts cloudy weather with spells of rain, becoming lighter and patchier throughout the day. Temperatures are set to be around average.

However it warns it could be 'rather windy' with a maximum temperature of 16C. As we head into the Bank Holiday weekend, there will be a mixture of sunshine and showers.

The forecast is for a largely dry on Friday with a few showers around. Fine and dry to start on Saturday with perhaps some thicker cloud and rain arriving later. Sunshine and showers on Sunday.
