A new weather map published by the Met Office reports that Storm Bert is not done with the UK yet. After heavy flooding in parts of the country with 200 flood warnings in place, there is still due to be more rain.

Thankfully, the map shows that this rain will mostly miss London, bar a few showers. But the north and west of the country is beset by rainfall, particularly in Scotland which is almost entirely covered by swirling rainclouds on the map

The west of Ireland is also due to be hit too as well as large parts of Wales and the South West and Lancashire and West Yorkshire.

Tomorrow in London it will actually be quite mild and completely clear all day with a less than 5 per cent chance of rain. Clouds are due to move off from 5am and the skies should be clear until 8pm in the evening.

Temperatures will have highs of 10C and lows of 5C. Storm Bert has meant a lot of wind in London more than anything else but even that will have died down by tomorrow with wind speeds of about 7mph through the night being reduced to 6mph through most of the day and then by the evening it will decrease to 2mph.

Temperatures will continue to rise through the week, the Met Office say with highs of 13C on Saturday and Sunday and lows of 10C and 9C respectively. Through the week the temperatures slowly build to this temperature after a small dip on Wednesday with highs of 8C and lows of 3C.

There will be mostly overcast and cloud days through the week but it will mainly be dry, save for a few showers on Wednesday.

What do other forecasters say?

BBC Weather largely agrees with the Met Office but do not think it will be so warm on the weekend with highs of only 9C and lows of 3C on Saturday and highs of 8C and lows of 3C on Sunday. They agree there are chances of showers on Wednesday but BBC believes that Thursday will be the week's coldest day rather than Wednesday.
