A Metropolitan Police officer has admitted to kicking a Surrey Police constable in the stomach, while appearing in court this morning (Friday, September 13). Kimberley Marshall, 40, from Bracknell, pleaded guilty to one charge or assaulting an emergency worker at Staines Magistrates' Court.

Ms Marshall, a serving police constable at the Metropolitan Police Service, was being arrested for an unrelated offence on December, 28, 2023, Surrey Police said. She then assaulted a Surrey Police constable when she kicked them in the stomach.

No further action has been taken on the initial arrest, Surrey Police said, but Ms Marshall was given a six-month conditional discharge for the offence.
