Meteor Lights Up Night Sky in Victoria

A meteor momentarily lit up the sky over Victoria and South Australia late on Tuesday, May 21, as seen in this dashcam video captured by Rory Naron.

Security cameras and dashcams in Victoria and South Australia caught the moment the fireball streaked across the sky.

“Lit up the sky! Was amazing!” one excited viewer wrote on Facebook.
